MARIA C
Joint Venture
Maria’s path to design was clear and deliberate. She never wanted to do anything else.
Raised in Moscow, she gravitated early to architecture. By 18, she was already working in the field, learning fast, doing real work, and building instincts you can’t teach.
At Harrell, Maria works in cabinetry, where there’s no room for approximation. Every joint has to land exactly right. If it’s off, doors don’t align. Drawers catch. Cabinets don’t quite close. The whole space feels wrong.
Her standard is simple: build it as if it’s her own. No shortcuts. No compromises.
Try to catch her on her time off and you’ll have to move fast. Where work calls for stillness, off the clock she stays in motion: dancing, surfing, snowboarding, and hiking.
