February 7th. Modern and Vibrant Hillside Cozy
Ed and Bill Fike felt restricted from enjoying the lovely view cascading from their home until they hired Harrell Design + Build to knock down a central wall, opening up their home. This remodel includes a reimagining of space, bright and bold finishes, and perhaps the star of the show; a custom art installation that acts as a functional partition to delineate their space without sacrificing their view.
February 14th. A Robust Kitchen Refreshen with Special Chemistry Motifs
When Barbara contacted Harrell Design + Build about updating her 1980’s kitchen, we knew just the direction to take it. Infused with science motifs, the kitchen refresh includes materials and finishes reminiscent of Barbara’s time working in the labs that she’s loved so much in her career. February 22nd. An Addition that Provided a Private Mid-Century Modern Bathroom Oasis
Allyson and Erik were sharing one tiny bathroom with their two growing boys in their quaint San Jose home until they realized that space was getting tight and cramped. What came out of their pain point was a beautifully and creatively reimagined master suite; an addition equipped with their own private oasis.
February 28th. Back for More Over Two Decades Later, a Modernizing of this Bright Home
Paul and Sheri adored the whole home remodel that they did with Harrell Design + Build 27 years ago. It carried them through decades of fulfilling child (and dog) raising, entertaining, and community building. With new lifestyles, and looking down the years of aging in place, they were yearning for an updated and optimized space. They graciously brought Harrell back for ANOTHER whole home remodel! This time, a stunning and dramatic showcase for art and gathering.
